A series of Hong Kong promotional events jointly presented by the HKETO and the Hong Kong Tourism Board brough an array of the city’s attractions to the city of  Mississauga, Markham, Toronto and Montreal.  The January event in Sqaure One “Hong Kong Comes to Mississauga” kicked off a series of  Hong Kong-themed events “Hong Kong Comes to …” staged in Markham, the Greater Toronto Area, and Montreal in February and March.  Activities staged featured Hong Kong as Asia’s events and culinary capital, as well as highlighted its role as an international financial centre, and a cultural city in the region.
