The January event in Sqaure One “Hong Kong Comes to Mississauga” kicked off a series of Hong Kong-themed events “Hong Kong Comes to …” staged in Markham, the Greater Toronto Area, and Montreal in February and March. Special guest speakers were: Prof K.C. Chan, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, The Government of Hong Kong SAR, and Ronald Arculli, Chairman of HKEx.
Participants of this event learned about business opportunities in Hong Kong and upcoming major projects in the city; gained knowledge on how overseas and Mainland Chinese companies use Hong Kong to expand their business; and had an opportunity to network with other businesses interested in the Hong Kong and Chinese markets.
