“Hong Kong Sedan Chair Race” concludes “Historic Family Adventure Competition”
Press Release - June 25, 2006 After a series of challenging physical and mental games specially designed for today’s (Sunday) "The Historic Family Adventure Race" held at the Toronto Dragon Boat Race Festival, four families entered the final round to compete in the "Hong Kong Sedan Chair Race", making it the highlight for the event.
Sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office (HKETO) in Canada and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the new “Historic Family Adventure Race” is a fun-packed game that required participating families using their physical and mental strength to complete challenging tasks which included wrapping rice dumplings, photo hunt, Hong Kong puzzle, chopstick challenge, quiz, Chinese tea tasting…etc. Four families taking part in the final round are eligible for participating in the Hong Kong Sedan Chair Race. The winning family is awarded a family trip to Hong Kong with four roundtrip air tickets, accommodation and a free guided tour to some of Hong Kong's most popular tourist spots. - 30 -
