Video conference helps Canadian students make informed decision in career path

At today's (Friday) annual career video conference jointly organized by the Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau (CITB) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Canada, some 500 students from Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta participated simultaneously in the informative session.
Five guests speakers representing Hong Kong's business and professional services sectors offered students in Canada their first-hand experiences and career prospects in Hong Kong. The career video conference, now in its fifth year, was hosted by the Deputy Secretary of CITB, Ms Linda Lai, in Hong Kong and the Director of the HKETO, Mr Bassanio So (front), in Canada.
The career conference was also supported by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, and the Alumni Associations of the University of British Columbia and the Richard Ivey School of Business of the University of Western Ontario in Hong Kong.
