The lucky winner of the Spring Lantern Festival Lucky Draw organized by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Canada) and the Fairchild Media Group as part of the promotional event �Hong Kong and Calgary � Cities of Dynamism� in Calgary was today (February 19) presented with the overall grand prize � a return air ticket from Calgary to Hong Kong.

On behalf of the organizers, the Alberta Regional Manager of the Fairchild Media Group, Ms. Christine Leung, presented the air ticket coupon to Katherine Wong, a participant of the Spring Lantern Festival Riddle Quiz. Katherine is a native Canadian from a Hong Kong immigrant�s family.

Katherine was one of the 7,000 participants in the lucky draw. This includes more than 4,000 participants of the riddle quiz and over 3,000 participants at the Remote Broadcast Program last Saturday (Feb. 15) at Chinook Centre.

Said a beaming 25 year-old Katherine Wong: �I never dreamt of winning the grand prize. I am so happy. I went to Hong Kong once in 1987. I intend to visit Hong Kong this year. The lucky draw has made my dream come true. I look forward to visiting Hong Kong with my relatives to see for myself the magnificent infrastructure, the popular tourist attractions and sample the wide selection of food in Hong Kong - Asia�s world city.�

Since the �Building a Dynamic Hong Kong� photo exhibition has been staged at Chinook Centre last Friday, it has so far attracted more than 15,000 visitors and aroused the interest of Calgarians in Hong Kong�s infrastructure and the business opportunities associated with the city�s infrastructure plans for the next ten years.

The photo exhibition is on public display at the Chinook Centre from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily until February 25.

The phone-in �Questions and Answers� quiz in Fairchild Radio�s Good Morning Everybody Program from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the last two days to test the knowledge of the audience about Hong Kong and the �Building a Dynamic Hong Kong� photo exhibition has also proved to be very popular. Interested audience can take part in the quiz on or before Feb. 25 by calling (403) 717 1947. The callers who can give the correct answers within the shortest period of time will be awarded prizes.
