Welcome to the homepage of the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office (HKETO) in Canada. The HKETO is the official representative of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in Canada.

Hong Kong is an international financial centre in Asia. To further develop and strengthen Hong Kong's position as a world class cosmopolitan city, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government aims to consolidate existing industries and trades while at the same time enhance Hong Kong's role as a regional IT/telecommunications hub in Asia. To make Hong Kong a pleasant place to work and live in, improving the environment in Hong Kong is another top priority. There are ample business opportunities for Canadian enterprises, in particular those specialising in the finance, trade, environmental technology and IT/telecommunications sectors, to invest in Hong Kong.
