Introduction:With a population of about 1.3 billion people and an average growth of over 8 percent over the past five years, China is poised to become the largest market in Asia and the world. The accession to WTO and market deregulation has opened up new opportunities for international businesses. Yet the road to China's market can be treacherous to outsiders. Let Hong Kong be your partner to fast track your market entry into China.
The Hong Kong Canada Trade Mission is a practical and insightful program designed for Canadian companies to gain the insider's edge in China. The program includes: a full day business conference featuring discussions on key issues faced by foreign companies when they tackle the Chinese market, business networking with venture capitalists, business matching with potential partners in Hong Kong and a side trip to southern China.
