2003 Hong Kong Flower Show
Staged by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the 2003 Hong Kong Flower Show will be held from March 7 to March 16 at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay. 
With the theme 'Orchid Splendour' and 'Phalaenopsis' as theme flower, this year's event will showcase this exquisite plant and other exotic flowers, landscape and floral art displays presented by more than 130 participating organisations from Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas. 
Sixteen overseas organisations from 11 countries, comprising Canada, Australia, France, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, the Mainland, Singapore, the Philippines, South Africa and the United Kingdom will take part in the show. (pix - flower show) 
Over 300 000 flowers with about 8 000 pieces of Phalaenopsis in 140 species will be put on display.
