The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Mr Tung Chee Hwa, will leave for Bangkok this (April 28) evening to take part in the Special ASEAN-China Leaders' Meeting on Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. Mr Tung will be a main member of the Chinese delegation.

Accompanying Mr Tung on the trip will be the HKSAR Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Dr E K Yeoh; the Director of the HKSAR Chief Executive's Office, Mr W K Lam; the HKSAR Director of Information Services, Miss Yvonne Choi; the Private Secretary to the HKSAR Chief Executive, Mr Robin Ip and the Senior Special Adviser to the HKSAR Chief Executive, Mr Chan Kin-ping.

During the absence of Mr Tung, the HKSAR Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Donald Tsang, will be the Acting Chief Executive of the HKSAR.
