Canadian students explore business potential through Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto (HKETO) and the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association (Edmonton Section) yesterday (Monday) jointly presented the Investment Pitch Competition (iPic) in Edmonton for the third consecutive year. The competition formed part of the series of events featured in HKETO's major promotion 'Hong Kong under Spotlight' across Canada.

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto (HKETO) and the Vancouver International Film Centre today (Friday) jointly presented the Hong Kong Spirit Film Gala during the Hong Kong Business and Film Week proclaimed by the City of Vancouver. The gala is part of a series of events featured in HKETO's major promotion 'Hong Kong under Spotlight' across Canada.

Hong Kong has always been an ideal location for Canadian businesses overseas. The Hong Kong-Canada Business Achievement Award is a new initiative to recognize the achievements of Canada-based companies which have successfully ventured into Hong Kong, or have used Hong Kong as a platform for expansion to other parts of Asia.
