Hong Kong: the platform for Canadian businesses to venture into Asia Hong Kong's Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Professor K C Chan, today (Wednesday) wrapped up his visit in Canada and was departing for the United States to continue his visit. Yesterday, Professor Chan attended the first ever Hong Kong-Canada Business Achievement Award gala and met with the prominent Canadian leaders in the business and financial sector in Toronto. Investment Pitch Competition 2014 - winning business projects The Investment Pitch Competition (iPic) organised by Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in collaboration with the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association was held in Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton in March under the theme 'Hong Kong under Spotlight'. It provided students enrolled in both part-time and full-time post-secondary institutions a unique opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial business, analytical and presentation skills to a group of seasoned judges.
