Canadian Journalists Win “Dateline Hong Kong” Fellowship

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Canada), in association with the Canadian Association of Journalists, announced the result of this year’s “Dateline Hong Kong” Fellowship, an annual program for Canadian journalists to acquaint themselves with Hong Kong.

Toronto's Peter Goodspeed of The National Post and Ottawa’s Jennifer Chen of the Ottawa Citizen were awarded the fellowships. The two were selected by a panel of judges based on the strength of their applications, which included story proposals and confirmation that their work would be published upon their return to Canada. The fellowship included a week’s of interviews and fact finding in Hong Kong.
