Focused efforts to build partnerships or alliances and develop business opportunities designed to further the role and position of Chinese medicines in international markets have been initiated by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Institute of Chinese Medicine Limited (HKJCICM).
The HKJCICM is Hong Kong’s focal point for steering the advancement of Chinese medicine and the industry. It works to develop Chinese medicines for international markets in partnership with key stakeholders
- government offices, public institutions, the industry and universities.
Partnerships or alliances are sought in the areas of R&D-based organizations with specific research interests, as well as with organizations, agencies or CROs in major markets. The HKJCICM also seeks to form alliances with business or industrial associations in international markets for networking and information sharing. The group also welcomes business development discussions to explore licensing opportunities and other forms of commercialization.
