Hong Kong’s increased emphasis on the environment is building great potential for Canadian-made “green” technologies to find fertile ground in Hong Kong. In an April visit, the Secretary for the Environment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government, Mr. Edward Yau, traveled to Toronto and Ottawa to exchange views with government officials and inform businesspeople about environmental business opportunities in Hong Kong and its environs (more…)

The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mrs. Rita Lau, met visiting Minister of International Trade, Canada, Mr. Stockwell Day, on April 16. The two sides had a useful exchange on development of internaitonal trade and bilateral trade and economic co-operation between Hong Kong and Canada.
