As one of the event supporters, HKETO presented a “Hong Kong Cup” Race and set up a booth at the event venue to promote the Hong Kong Food and Wine Year, and the 2009 East Asian Games, which will be held in Hong Kong this December.

The Forum provided a useful platform for Canadian environment firms to explore partnership opportunities with Hong Kong with a view to jointly capitalizing on business potentials in Hong Kong, the Pearl River Delta and Mainland China. A “Hong Kong Advantages” session was held to discuss on how Canadian companies could use HK as a platform to provide a familiar legal and financial context to doing business in China.
