A charity concert entitled “Let There Be Peace On Earth” has raised a total of CAN$20,000 for the Hong Kong Veterans Commemorative Association. The funds will be used to support the building of a Hong Kong Veterans Memorial Wall on which the names of the 1,975 Canadian men and two women who served in defence of Hong Kong during the “Battle of Hong Kong” at the Second World War were etched.
